Objective

Create a commercial storage plan for gametes that is billed periodically to the patient. Plans define the billing frequency, monthly cost, maximum capacity and additional services.

Before starting

  • Have GAMETE_BANK_PLAN: WRITE.
  • Define the commercial conditions: sample type, billing frequency, cost and additional services.
  • Have the services that will be offered as additional configured.

Step by step

  1. Enter the Gamete bank module and open the Plans sub-route.
  2. Click New plan (top toolbar).
  3. The creation dialog opens. Enter:
    • Plan code.
    • Descriptive name.
    • Sample type (Oocytes, Sperm, Embryos).
    • Billing frequency (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual, Annual).
    • Monthly cost.
    • Maximum samples allowed.
    • Grace period in days.
    • Additional services (multiple selector).
    • Active (switch).
  4. Confirm with Save.

Expected result

  • The plan is registered and appears in the plans table.
  • The plan can be associated with a patient when creating a sample or a plan charge.
  • The system shows a success message.

Operational recommendations

  • Create plans by sample type and duration to cover the patient's needs.
  • Define the grace period clearly (days of tolerance before generating an overdue charge).

Relation with other modules

  • Patients: the plan is associated with the patient when registering a sample or creating a charge.
  • Cash box (CryoBank): the plan charges are generated and collected from Cash box.
  • Services: the additional services of the plan must exist in the services catalog.
