Objective

Maintain reusable templates for prescriptions and other flows. Each template contains medications, indications and a description that are applied when creating a new document.

How the screen is organized

Splitter with the list of templates on the left and the detail on the right. When selecting a template, its details and medications are seen.

Available actions

  • Create template: high dialog with name, short description, type and medications.
  • Edit template: adjust content.
  • Delete template: requires TEMPLATES: ADMIN.

Permissions

  • TEMPLATES: WRITE to create and edit.
  • TEMPLATES: ADMIN to delete.

Before starting

  • Have the medications and variants configured (see Medications and families).
  • Define which template types are needed (for example: "Initial consultation - Gynecology", "Pressure control", "Supplementation plan").

Step by step - Create

  1. Go to Catalogs -> Templates.
  2. Click New template.
  3. Enter: name, short description, type, medication tags.
  4. Add the medications and variants to the template.
  5. Confirm.

Expected result

  • The template is registered.
  • It appears available when creating a prescription or document that uses it.
  • The system shows a success message.

  • TEMPLATES: WRITE.

Operational recommendations

  • Create templates with the most used medications per consultation type.
  • Keep the templates updated when the protocols change.
  • Document internally the use of each template.

Relation with other modules

  • Prescriptions: templates are applied when creating a prescription to speed up the capture.
  • Medications and families: templates reference medications and variants from the catalog.
