Objective

Quickly locate a specific dashboard using the search or the filter by collection.

Before starting

• Have read access to the module.

Step by step - Search by text

1. Enter the Dashboard module.
2. In the search bar, type at least 3 characters. The search fires after 300 ms of inactivity.
3. The list is filtered to show dashboards whose name, description or collection name match the text.

Step by step - Filter by collection

1. Use the collection filter dropdown.
2. Select the desired collection, or "Without collection" to see dashboards without a collection.
3. The list is filtered to show only the dashboards in that collection.

Expected result

• The list shows the dashboards that match the filter.
• You can click on any result to open the dashboard.

Common errors

Situation	What to do
The search returns no results	Expand the text or remove the collection filter.
The collection filter does not show options	Coordinate with the BI area to configure the collections in Metabase.

Suggested permissions

• Read permission on the Dashboard submodule.

Operational recommendations

• Combine search and collection filter to locate dashboards quickly.
• If you know the name of the dashboard but it does not appear, try without the filter.

Relation with other modules

• Operation and administration: dashboards summarize information from all modules.
