Objective

Consult in a consolidated way all studies associated with a patient, grouped by type and status, to view their clinical trajectory.

Before starting

  • The patient must exist and have at least one registered study.

Step by step

  1. Enter the Study capture module.
  2. Open the Patients tab.
  3. Locate the patient in the list (alphabetical or by medical record).
  4. Expand their row by clicking the expand icon.
  5. Review the list of associated studies with their type, status and date.
  6. To view the detail of a specific study, click on the row.

Expected result

  • The list shows the patient's complete history with their studies.
  • Each study preserves its type, status, date and results.
  • It is possible to open any of the studies for consultation, reprinting or resending.

Common errors

Suggested permissions

  • MEDICAL_CAPTURE: READ (included with any level of the module).

Operational recommendations

  • Before starting a new study, review the patient's history to avoid duplication.
  • Keeping the finished studies in the history helps with clinical traceability.

Relation with other modules

  • Patients: the history is organized by patient.
  • Prescriptions: studies that generate prescriptions are automatically linked.
  • Gamete bank: freezing and unfreezing studies reference bank samples.
