Link prospect with patient
Objective
Link a CRM prospect with an existing or new patient, so that the commercial follow-up is associated with the clinical record.
Before starting
- Have the prospect registered.
- If the patient does not yet exist, register them first.
Step by step - Linking when creating a patient
- Enter the Patients module.
- Start creating a patient.
- When saving, the system searches for matches with CRM prospects (
findMatchingLandingContacts). - If there are matches, the system shows a dialog with the matching prospects.
- Confirm the linking with the corresponding prospect.
Step by step - Manual linking
- Enter the Landing (CRM) module.
- Locate the prospect.
- Open the prospect's actions and select Link with patient.
- Search for the patient by name, phone or medical record.
- Confirm the linking.
Expected result
- The prospect is linked to the patient.
- The prospect's status is updated to reflect the conversion.
- The patient has the origin and commercial history of the prospect.

Common errors

Operational recommendations
- When creating a patient, always check if there are matches in the CRM to avoid duplicates and maintain commercial traceability.
- Document the conversion (date and reason) for reports.
Relation with other modules
- Patients: the linked patient receives the commercial history.
- Notifications: the linking can trigger automatic rules.
- Audit log: the linking is recorded.
