Activate or deactivate HCP
Objective
Change the availability of an HCP without deleting it. When deactivated, it stops appearing in the schedule and in the service selectors, but keeps its history.
Before starting
- Locate the HCP in the table.
- Have
MEDICAL_STAFF: WRITE.
Step by step
- Enter the Medical and staff module.
- Locate the HCP.
- In the Status column, click the switch.
- Confirm the change.
Expected result
- The HCP changes its status to active or inactive.
- If deactivated: it stops being available in the schedule, in the service selectors and in the operational searches. Its history (past appointments, prescriptions, studies) is preserved.
- If activated: it is again available in the flows that use it.
Pending: add screenshot of
medicos-status-01-interruptor.png.
Common errors
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The switch does not respond | Verify the MEDICAL_STAFF: WRITE permission. |
| The HCP still appears in the schedule | Refresh the page. |
| Existing appointments reference the HCP | Past appointments are maintained. Coordinate with the schedule to reassign future ones. |
Suggested permissions
MEDICAL_STAFF: WRITE.
Operational recommendations
- Deactivate instead of deleting. Deactivation preserves the medical-legal history.
- If the deactivation is temporary (for example, vacations), reactivate upon return.
Relation with other modules
- Schedule: an inactive HCP stops appearing as a tab and as an option in selectors.
- Prescriptions and studies: those already signed by the HCP keep their authorship.
- Cash box: historical charges and payments are not affected.
