Objective

Define to which users, HCPs or HCP types the notification will be sent when a system action is executed.

Before starting

• Have clear which system action is going to be configured.
• Have the list of recipients (users, HCPs or types) to whom it should be notified.

Step by step

1. Enter the Notifications module from the side menu.
2. Locate the action to configure (use the search if the list is long).
3. In the action row, click the Configure scope icon or the corresponding action.
4. In the dialog, select:
   • Recipient users (multiple selector).
   • Recipient HCPs (multiple selector).
   • Recipient HCP types (multiple selector).
5. Confirm with Save.

Expected result

• The notification scope is configured.
• When the action is executed, the recipients will receive the notification.
• The system shows a success message.

Common errors

Situation	What to do
The action does not appear in the list	Verify that the action is active in the Staff types and actions module.
The recipients do not receive the notification	Verify that the scope is active and that the recipients are active.

Suggested permissions

• Write permission on the Notifications submodule.

Operational recommendations

• Include at least one recipient per action to avoid loss of information.
• If the notification is for coordination, prefer HCP types over individual users (it is more stable against rotations).

Relation with other modules

• Users: the recipients come from the users catalog.
• Medical and staff: the recipient HCPs come from the HCPs catalog.
• Staff types and actions: the recipient types come from there.
