Create location
Objective
Register a new location (office, room, area) associated with a branch.
Before starting
- Have
LOCATIONS: WRITE. - Have the branch created and active.
Step by step
- Enter the Branches and locations module and open the Locations sub-route.
- The screen shows the list of locations.
- Click New location (top toolbar).
- The creation dialog opens. Enter:
- Name of the location.
- Associated branch.
- Short description.
- Confirm with Save.
Expected result
- The location is registered.
- It appears in the list and as an option in the flows that consume it.
- The system shows a success message.

Common errors

| The branch does not appear in the selector | Verify that the branch is active. |
| The name is duplicated | The system validates duplicates and shows a specific message. Change the name. |

- Use descriptive names (for example: "Office 1", "Waiting room", "Andrology lab").
- Keep the description updated so the operational team can quickly locate it.

- Patients: the patient's address can be associated with a location.
